Urology Business Manager - East Scotland

Star are recruiting for a Business Manager to work in the Urology department which is a Global Category Leader in this field of medicine due to the companies' impressive portfolio of drugs for Urology. The company is not only a market leader, but also has new medicines currently under evaluation. The role will require you to lead a regional team in order to achieve sales targets and deliver sustainable ROL growth through the implementation of company strategy in Urology. In addition to this, the role will require you to provide inspirational leadership, coaching and development of direct reports. As well as a competitive salary, you will be offered a company car and an attractive bonus scheme.

Key responsibilities of a Urology Business Manager will include:

* Developing regional business area strategies
* Leading on the delivery of regional business area strategies
* Coaching the team on patient focused in call sales excellence and business/territory management
* Coaching the team on customer coaching, leadership and selling skills
* Managing performance
* Delivering of business sales and contribution objectives
* Developing a level of financial understanding to manager, deliver and optimise P&L
* Understanding and building strategy for regional and CCG environment
* Providing the regional team with guidelines and parameters for developing their account plans
* Providing input to and approving strategic account objectives developed by Urology Account Managers
* Building the regional sales force plan with environmental input from Urology Account Managers

Key requirements of a Urology Business Manager include:

* Proven experience within pharmaceutical sales
* Ideally, people management experience in a sales environment or strong evidenced sales line management
* Evidence of a successful coaching ability
* Experience of holding an Account Manager position or ideally managing individuals/a team in an Account manager position within Primary care, Secondary care and Market Access
* A demonstration of pharmaceuticals and NHS knowledge
* Practical experience of partnership working with the NHS, with tangible business outcomes
* Experience if building relationships with commissioners and budget holders
* Demonstrated experience of developing current high performer to further excellence
* Educated to degree level (or equivalent) and able to cope with basic science/medicine
* Basic knowledge of medical science
* Full and detailed understanding of the NHS and the commercial implications for pharmaceutical companies
* ABPI qualification
