An opportunity exists for a Urology Account Manager to shape policy decisions in accounts through dialogue with all Payors in the local Health economy. You will focus on implementing guidelines and removing barriers for prescribing in relation to a recent new Urology launch as well as achieving sales targets of the accounts through securing local funding, formulary inclusion, changes to protocol and service redesign (including changes to care pathway). Your main interactions will be with Clinical Commissioning Group leads, medicines management, Urologists and key hospital decision makers. This senior position will encompass managing others without authority so influencing skills will be key.
Applicants must have evidence of successful working within a similar pharmaceutical Payor driven Market Access role and show a high level of NHS knowledge. As a successful candidate you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. A high level of influencing and persuasiveness are a prerequisite as is a 'Can Do' attitude. Applications would particularly be welcome from First Line Managers looking to diversify into a more customer focused strategic role.
