The purpose of the Brand Manager role is to drive and support Biosimilar marketing initiatives in line with country, regional and global strategies. The Brand Manager will develop and lead key marketing initiatives within the UK across multi-functional product teams to meet business objectives. A key component of this position is to provide on-going and proactive support to the Head of Biopharmaceuticals UK and as a result the role will continually monitor and adjust product-marketing activities to ensure maximum competitiveness and optimised profitability

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the development and implementation of product marketing with the pharmaceutical sector. They would also have a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical product development process including early commercial assessments, new product launches, and life cycle management. Hands on experience of pharmaceutical sales would be required and some form of sales force management would be preferable but not essential. A degree (or equivalent) in Life Sciences or business subject and a postgraduate marketing/ business qualification (or equivalent) would also be advantageous.
