Clinical Applications Specialist vacancy opening within a medical device company specialising in developing technology to detect and monitor several conditions.

The Company

Working in varying therapeutic areas including wound care and orthopaedics this company looks to continue to be one of the world leading research and developing companies of medical devices that can detect and monitor medical condition whilst being cost effective.

The Role

The responsibilities of the Clinical Applications Specialist are but not limited to:

* Hit territory sales targets through development of the product
* Analyse potential new business within territory
* Deliver agreed business plans for both territory and key accounts
* Report accurate weekly business development and activities to UK national Sales Manager including revenue forecast
* Comply with company SOP and legal procedures
* Maintain CRM systems in line with company SOP
* Maintain a good working knowledge of the NHS and current finance management within
* Communicate any potential new business or competition to the UK NSM
* Ability to work in partnership with UK team and internal customers in addition to working on own initiative
* Undertake campaign and marketing strategies as laid down by NSM and Marketing

The Skills

* Be a Qualified General Nurse or 5 years minimum clinical sales experience within medical device within secondary care
* Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
* Ability to work extra hours where necessary
* Full clean driving licence preferred (no more than 6 point)
* Self-driven, result orientated person
* The ability to take ownership and use own initiative
* Excellent communication skills especially face to facce
* Able to demonstrate successful Key Account Management
* Experience of the medical device industry
* Experience of Tenders and Contracting is desirable
