Our client is a privately owned pharmaceutical sales and marketing company who promote branded and generic prescription medicine.
They currently have major brands in key therapeutic areas, particularly Oncology, COPD, Urology and Pain management and will extend this to other therapeutic areas in the near future.
They pride themselves on a very flat structure and empower their employees with the ultimate in autonomy.
An opportunity exists for a commercially minded, fully autonomous Key Account Manager to work with all key stakeholders to focus on formulary inclusion and commercial pull through of their cost effective product range.
For example, you will be targeting CCGs to obtain support and ensure their core mature brands are perceived as an answer to optimum patient outcomes and cost savings.
In addition you will be ensuring Secondary Care stakeholders are aware of the Primary Care agenda and to ensure developing pathways to cross these sectors.
Your key stakeholders will include Procurement, Pharmaceutical Advisers, Purchasing Pharmacists in Hospitals and Influencers to present commercial business cases for the portfolio of brands as well as Hospital Consultants.
We would like to hear from successful Key Account Managers who are adept at the commercial sell and can comfortably liaise and build lasting relationships at senior levels in the NHS. You should be well planned and organized and be able to think strategically and problem solve.
