HEALTH OUTCOMES MANAGER - LEADING COMPANY - BASED HERTS

As part of the Health Economics and Strategic Pricing department in the Market Access directorate, you will have the responsibility for managing and delivering high quality health economic and outcomes research that will ultimately contribute to health technology assessment submission strategies and pricing and market access strategies.

The ideal candidate will have experience of health economics and outcomes research to develop and manage research projects that link data with strategic pricing plans and brand strategy in the context of the pharmaceutical industry, NHS and wider healthcare environment. A degree or equivalent in health economics, biostatistics, economics or similar research field (e.g. epidemiology, real world data science, or public health) is essential, as are strong project management abilities including budgetary control and adherence to project deadlines. It would be beneficial to have Clinical experience in the past as well as expert knowledge of the ABPI Code, GCP and GPP standards for integrity of research. Wider business considerations need to be accounted for as well and as such you will need to bring additional expertise regarding the influences of procurement, marketing and finance policies and any required compliance, both internal and external. Working with a wide range of staff both internally and externally, effective communication and teamwork will be essential.
