Our client is a global, broad-based healthcare company devoted to discovering new medicines, new technologies and new ways to manage health. They have a broad portfolio of products which includes pharmaceutical specialised medicines, diagnostic systems and tests, vascular devices, blood glucose monitoring systems, nutritional products and veterinary care.
To manage the day-to-day operations for the sales and distribution of Mylan's influenza vaccine portfolio, delivering on financial goals and supporting the evolution of vaccine strategy in the UK.
The responsibilities of the job involve operating on a practical day-to-day level across all aspects of the influenza vaccine portfolio, working to optimise the use of resources to maximise sales and margin on these products.
You will be responsible for implementing the marketing plan with the aim of maximising revenue and monitoring the call centre cost centre within the agreed budget.
Also, you will be responsible for managing working relationships with both internal (primary care and channel sales teams) and other external partners critical to the success of the vaccine business portfolio.
Your suitabilty for the role will be based upon your success from within a similar position, which included a strong emphasis on marketing/commercial experience. Experience of managing external client relationships desirable, as is knowledge of the vaccines market in the UK.
