COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER - HIGHLY RESPECTED PHARMA COMPANY - BASED BERKSHIRE

Our client is a leading independent and family owned Pharmaceutical organisation within Dermatology and Critical Care. They maintain a strong focus on developing, manufacturing and marketing safe and efficacious drugs for treating psoriasis and other skin diseases as well as thromboembolic disorders. THE ROLE

Responsibility and accountability for the development, delivery and implementation of communication plans to achieve key business objectives across identified brands in Dermatology and Bio Dermatology in collaboration with Head of Communications manager / team lead, sales and business leadership in UK/IE and Region/ Global as appropriate. Analyses monitoring and reporting of performance of the key communication programmes in place.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Topical Dermatology and Bio-Dermatology Brand Communications - Drive development of strategic brand communication plans within core Dermatology teams & collaborate across the UK/IE business. Working with the brand cross functional teams (XFTs) provide tailored programmes in line with Strategic Imperatives. Ensure programme on track to deliver in agreed timeline while performance monitored and reported.

Media Relations - Lead and support media relations activities to improve the external environment for positive uptake of key communications messages, and build relationships with key journalists to raise awareness and engagement with key projects and campaigns.

Collaborative working - Work within Commercial Excellence team to develop proactive opportunities for synergistic working with External Affairs, Digital Patient Engagement, MCM Consumer and BI.

Stakeholder relations - Be an ambassador for Communications and provide communications counsel as a Business Partner to the organisation as required. Develop and maintain external relationships e.g. with KOLs and agency partners, to support delivery of objectives.

Internal Communications - Lead delivery and execution of internal branded communications plans, in collaboration with XFTs.
