Commercial Manager - nationwide - competitive salary

Established 60 years ago, our client is a family-owned business that retains a friendly and professional atmosphere. They focus on Diabetic injectors used by Type 1 patients. They also have a range of blood sampling products and a range of products for Sexual Health. The company is multinational and continuing to grow. The Commercial Manager's responsibilities include:

* Identify, develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to increase market share and brand presence
* Work with other teams within the business to generate sales and drive the business in line with organisational objectives
* Identify and develop new business opportunities for the company, and work with the Regional Account Executives to implement
* Analyse data to provide insight into market practices
* Carry out product and clinical training with healthcare professionals in all healthcare environments and other team members
* Ensure that literature and sample stocks are delivered and maintained in all relevant clinics where the company's products are used
* Complete all admin task accurately and on time
* Make sure all duties are completed as cost effectively as possible
* Comply with all Health and Safety guidelines as laid down by the Company

Candidates will have/be:

Essential

* Primary care sales experience
* Previous sales experience in Medical Devices and/or Diabetes
* Previous experience of negotiating with senior procurement managers
* Commercial acumen
* Experience of selling in a B2B environment
* Effective team worker, equally able to work on their own
* Ability to build excellent relationships at all levels
* Highly self-motivated
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Flexible approach (able to travel)

Desirable

* Secondary care sales experience
* Experience of team management
* A recognised business qualification
* A Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification
