Key Account Manager

South England

Our client, is a leading healthcare business in Britain and Ireland with a vision to be one of the leading players in the supply of products and services to the healthcare sector in Europe. Currently sells markets and distributes innovative and generic pharma products in Ireland and the UK through the hospital, pharmacy and homecare channels working within a range of therapy areas including oncology, antibiotics, pain management, haematology, respiratory, addiction and emergency medicine

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

* Identify, develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within territory
* Drive formulary and guideline development within the region and follow through on implementation
* Identify, develop and implement territory account plans in line with company strategic plans
* Work with internal departments to overcome obstacles and achieve territory sales targets
* Attend training course and other Adhoc meetings as and when required
* Represent the company in an ethical and positive manner
* Accept any special assignments as requested to do so

The ideal candidate will be / have:

* Three years minimum key account experience
* Evidence of a strong sales background
* Knowledge of fluid therapy (desirable)
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders
* Excellent presentation skills
* ABPI qualified (derisible or have to complete within 12 months)
* Full driving licence is essential
