SALES FORCE EFFECTIVENESS MANAGER - BERKSHIRE
Our client is a leading independent and family owned Pharmaceutical organisation within Dermatology and Critical Care.
They maintain a strong focus on developing, manufacturing and marketing safe and efficacious drugs for treating psoriasis and other skin diseases as well as thromboembolic disorders. They pride themselves on an award winning down to earth and people centred culture.
You will deliver and develop services and support to the Sales and Marketing directorates that ultimately enable the Salesforce and Sales Management to spend the maximum amount of time selling the product portfolio in the most effective way, also ensuring compliance with the ABPI Code of Practice.
This will be achieved by taking an active role in the development and implementation of strategy and tactics, both with the Sales and Marketing directorates as well as working collaboratively with other departments in the Company.
You will ensure that the Salesforce Effectiveness department delivers and develops the targets and data requirements of the sales force and sales management, e.g. sales targets, reporting of salesforce activity and performance versus targets, incentive scheme, weekly sales reports etc, undertaking ad hoc analysis reactively at the request of sales management, marketing or personnel or proactively to further enhance salesforce effectiveness.
Key to this will also be working closely with the Brand teams on strategic and tactical planning, as well as operational delivery.
Your suitabilty for the role will be defined by your:
* Previous experience in a sales environment; pharmaceutical industry experience is especially highly desirable
* Previous experience in a role involving senior data analysis to make recommendations at strategic and tactical level concerning resource deployment; making recommendations regarding data sources to assist strategic decision making
* Influencing skills and communication skills to be able to impact on all tiers of Management engagement towards and implementation of recommendations
* Previous experience of managing supplier relationships
