ACCOUNT LEAD - HAEMATOLOGY/IMMUNOLOGY - SCOTLAND/NORTH EAST ENGLAND
Our client is the leading global biotechnology company focused on serving people with rare diseases and other highly specialized conditions. They strive to develop best-in-class products, across core therapeutic areas including Haematology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Ophthalmics, Lysosomal Storage Disorders, Gastrointestinal/Internal Medicine/Endocrine and Hereditary Angioedema; and a growing franchise in Oncology.
In this role, the successful candidate will manage their own accounts and catchment area through cost-effective resource deployment and deliver agreed targets and other performance metrics in executing all agreed activities of patient finding and account action plans in collaboration with the cross-functional team.
The ideal incumbent will have experience in identifying and prioritising business opportunities through excellence in key account management and be able to demonstrate leadership capabilities and project management within a regional and/or national setting in a commercial role. They must have previous experience of partnering with local (UK) healthcare environment in order to implement local/national initiatives in support of products and disease areas.
While not essential it would be advantageous to have previous experience in a people management role and working with rare diseases or niche markets.
