Healthcare and Access Partners - Bone - New National Healthcare and Access Team Build

Star is recruiting for Healthcare and Access Partners to create a new National Healthcare and Access Team on behalf of our client, a global biopharmaceutical company, which is focused on discovering and developing innovative medicines and lateral solutions, to transform the lives of people with immune system or central nervous system disorders. We're looking for enthusiastic, talented people who thrive on challenge and creating real value for patients, to join our client in January 2018.

Each Healthcare and Access Partner's key responsibilities will include:

* Implementing sales, marketing and market access strategies for successful launch - you will develop a full understanding of the environment, customers and access requirements including: delivering advanced budget notification, mapping the local environment, pathways and protocols, and developing a comprehensive understanding of how fragility fractures are managed on the territory

* Acting as the face of the client's Bone Team and developing a broad, deep network of relationships on your territory with clinicians, pharmacists, procurement, executives, nurses, specialist GPs and payer groups

* Working with the wider commercial organisation to develop and execute BII-region specific commercial strategies based on local nuances

* Enhancing patient care and helping to achieve business objectives
* Aligning business objectives with local and national NHS policy

* Securing agreement for product funding and optimum positioning within the local health economy

* Sharing and developing best practice from the wider business and within the Bone Franchise

* Operating within an agreed budget

Candidates will have/be:

* Pharmaceutical sales and access, or NHS management experience

* Passed the ABPI examination or be IPHA Code of Practice qualified

* A proven, successful track record of influencing key NHS customers in key account and project management roles

* Experience and knowledge of relevant disease areas

* Able to demonstrate national and local NHS knowledge as well as detailed product and competitor knowledge

* Experienced in business planning and business case development, along with experience and knowledge of funding pathways and processes for higher cost branded medicines
