Our client, a global leader within diagnostics are currently looking to recruit a Key Account Manager for the East Anglia and East Midlands region. The position will be responsible for selling the company's range of Automation, Informatics, Professional Services, Clinical Chemistry, Serology and Reagents to Hospitals, Laboratories, Blood Banks and Clinics.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

* Responsible for the customer experience, managing and improving customer relationships and improving profitability of accounts
* Delivery of regular business reviews in accordance with contract and customer service need
* Drive profitability and value expansion in accounts
* Participate in contract renewals
* Conduct service support and reliability review on site level
* Inventory Management - ensure that orders are placed to maintain inventories
* Order Management - track order / standing order schedules

The ideal candidate will be / have:

* Previous knowledge and experience within the diagnostics market
* Ideally previous experience of selling products such as Automation, Informatics, Professional Services, Clinical Chemistry, Serology and Reagents
* Strong customer service and account management skills
* Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics
* Strong relationship building skills
* Excellent communication skills
