The Role:
We’re seeking a meticulous and dynamic individual to manage our new product launches, from the point of submission to 3 – 6 months post-launch. Working across the full product launch cycle, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of 15 – 20 active pharmaceutical ingredients (INNs) and 400 – 600 SKUs at any one time. Assigned your prioritised launch projects, you’ll work closely with departments across the business (e.g. Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Commercial) to gather market intelligence (including regional demand, pack preferences and cost recommendations) and gain a clear understanding of each product’s commercial and supply chain requirements to build a robust project plan that adheres to all regulatory standards and ensures every product is launched to its full effectiveness. To keep your projects on track, you’ll lead cross-functional meetings to monitor progress against key milestones, hold team members accountable for their designated actions and troubleshoot any encountered issues. Where appropriate, you’ll proactively instigate new processes or systems of working to support our commitment to continuous improvement and prevent the repeat occurrence of experienced issues. To support the smooth running of the department, you’ll update all relevant documentation and tracker systems to provide clear visibility of project status and communicate regular updates to your assigned Product Managers to keep the business ready for launch. This role is an incredible way to learn about the pharmaceutical industry and see how all departmental functions work – there will also be some opportunity for travel across EMENA to support your projects.

The Person:
Known as a self-started, you’re positive, persistent and motivated to deliver results. With excellent organisation skills, you’re able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise conflicting deadlines and think on your feet to solve problems as they arise. You also retain a strong attention to detail, even under pressure. You’re happy working independently, but are also a natural team player who knows how to get the best out of people. With strong communication and interpersonal skills (in written and spoken English), you’re comfortable liaising with people of all levels and navigating cultural differences. With a good commercial awareness, in an ideal world you’ll have some experience of managing projects in a large organisation and working in cross-functional teams. Experience of the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector would be beneficial, as would a working knowledge of an ERP system, such as SAP. You’ll have good numerical and IT skills (including Microsoft Office) with the ability to manipulate and analyse data. A degree-level qualification would be desirable but isn’t essential – we’re more keen to find someone with the right ability and mind-set who’s keen to learn and make a difference.
