Exceptional Regional Account Director opportunity with a company who are on a transformational journey, recognised as pioneers of key account management principles. This role is within the company's Business Unit and will involve personally championing their methodology across the South West territory.
You'll work in collaboration with other sales teams and corporate functions to lead, develop and implement the regional business plan strategy and financial objectives with rigour and precision. You'll understand the business as if it were your own, and have a deep understanding of regional account performance, aligning business objectives to both the central company strategy and also to NHS customer needs across the local health economy.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate outstanding key account management and leadership skills, have an entrepreneurial drive, be able to work with minimal direction, have success in sales management with pharma (or related), and be an expert in their region, enjoying developing deep customer knowledge and bringing forward insights and new business opportunities.
Additional skills required include a degree in Science or Business, ABPI, exceptional business planning and account management skills, previous line management experience with high-level leadership and people management skills, a sound understanding of the UK pharma industry (NHS policies etc.), and strong commercial acumen and budgetary management skills.
