The Senior Brand Manager's key responsibilities will include:

* Managing the strategic development of the market and designated brand(s) in line with corporate strategy
* Being a recognised 'Brand Champion'
* Developing marketing models and templates in line with brand strategy
* Developing global product campaigns for local use, including advertising, direct mail, PR and sales force materials, and ensuring materials are VI-compliant
* Actively seeking and managing stakeholders' input throughout brand planning and campaign development
* Creating a communication brand strategy, including positioning and rationale to develop organisational strategic understanding of the market environment
* Liaising with Communications around media and press activities (including co-ordination of press releases, reactive statements and Q&As)
* Overseeing product communication and brand image throughout client product portfolio, including drafting internal news stories and performance updates for publication by Communications
* Liaising with Global and European headquarters regarding current product promotion, performance and competitor intelligence
* Coordinating and taking ownership of inputting into product volume, revenue forecasting, and developing product project and promotional budgets
* Analysing the performance of new tactics and, working with stakeholders across the organisation, recommend and drive improvements to performance through sales and marketing-led activities, putting in place and driving any action plans as required
* Conducting primary and secondary market and competitor research and analysis
* Regular customer contact, field force liaison, and reviewing audit/market research
* Gathering and maintaining an overview of competitor intelligence
* Providing regular market updates, including competitor analysis, assessment of market trends, forecasts and prescription data for the organisation, and maintaining other key product metrics
* Ensuring compliance with national legislation and local guidelines in relation to production of marketing materials, ensuring full ZINC sign-off before use
* Website management

Applicants should have/be:


* Graduate or equivalent
* Advanced Marketing/Business qualification desirable (MBA)
* IPHA certification

Work Experience

* Proven success in an ethical pharmaceutical sales/customer-facing role
* Proven experience in pharmaceutical product management/marketing role (POMs)
* Proven success in pharmaceutical product management/marketing
* Current experience of UK Primary and/or Secondary Care markets

Technical Knowledge & Skills

* Market and therapy area knowledge desirable
* Knowledge and understanding of the HSE landscape and infrastructure
* Intermediate/Advanced IT and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, eProcure, ETMS)
* Willingness and ability to travel within the UK, Europe and internationally on a regular basis (a passport and valid Irish driving licence holder)
