The Community Team Sales Manager's key responsibilities will include:

* Direct sales of the client's products within Primary Care through a team of 6 Sales Representatives, a Dietitian and Speech and Language Therapist
* To deliver profitable sales growth in line with operating budget and mid-term strategy
* To spend up to 4 days a week on field visits with representatives
* Communicate with representatives multiple times weekly
* Communicate with the General Manager on a weekly basis to ensure that there is clarity and consistency of business priorities
* To take responsibility for Primary Care sales strategy and the sales plan and to drive its implementation, specifically deploying a key account management approach to exploit opportunities as they emerge
* To ensure territory business plans are in place, updated and implemented on an ongoing basis
* To ensure adherence of Sales Representatives to MI (CRM system) SOP
* To analyse all monthly sales data and report over performance, gaps and trends versus forecast and budget
* To ensure close monitoring of competitor activity and that this is reported to the Marketing Team
* To work closely with the Sales and Marketing Team to provide valued input into the contract/tender process for all activities
* To interact regularly with Product Managers to develop marketing strategy to achieve our overall sales targets
* To work with the Marketing Team to ensure that the client exhibits at appropriate meetings in a professional manner, and to ensure adherence to Exhibition SOP
* To input into the company forecasts and medium-term strategy process as required by the Senior Management Team
* To train and empower Sales Representatives to ensure business objectives are met
* To take responsibility to ensure training needs are met for all Sales Representatives through comprehensive training and development plans
* To develop a high level of knowledge and understanding of hospital and Primary Care healthcare systems in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland
* Responsibility for core competency assessment and development of the sales team
* Manage the positioning of the client's product range and services as a preferred partner to our key customers
* To manage and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, customers and industry
* To ensure Sales Representatives are in adherence with all Company policies
* Manage the activities of the Dietitian and Speech and Language Therapist to ensure they support the business and our customers in a professional manner

Expenditure Responsibilities

* Control of sales cost centres, as agreed with the General Manager

Applicants should have/be:

* Healthcare sales management experience
* Proven healthcare sales experience and track record in territory planning and delivery
* Demonstrate achievement of role accountabilities
* Excellent communications skills
* Sales management or business qualification
* Knowledge of both Irish and Northern Health services
