Our services for dispensing practices, prescribing-only practices and family planning clinics are unrivalled in the Primary Care market place.

We now have a current opening for a suitably qualified and experienced Sales Director to join our team and be the figurehead for the PHOENIX Group UK’s PSUK brand.

The role can be based at our head office in Runcorn, or at the PSUK offices in York, with frequent travel nationwide.

The role will be primarily focused on the needs of the PSUK membership, as well as the broader customer group, and you will lead the sales teams responsible for the relationships and revenues in this channel.

Developing and implementing customer propositions and strategies you will ensure the operational, regulatory and commercial needs of the customers are met through high quality sales and customer management activities. You will deliver coaching and training for the sales teams and deliver our promotional programmes and sales activities ensuring that all targets and call quality criteria are met. You will be a role model for the Company's leadership values and behaviours.

We are looking for an established commercial manager with previous experience leading both field sales and office based teams, preferably from within the pharmaceutical industry.

You will have experience of leading teams, establishing management frameworks, developing customer propositions, and have the ability to understand the needs of patients and how new services can be developed to support their care.

A strong leader and role model, you will have good commercial judgement, excellent communication and negotiation skills along with the ability to realise goals whilst considering costs, benefits and risks.
