OPHTHALMOLOGY - SENIOR KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER - YORKSHIRE & NORTH EAST ENGLAND
Our client is the leading global biotechnology company focused on serving people with rare diseases and other highly specialized conditions. They strive to develop best-in-class products, across a variety of core therapeutic areas.
They are now entering an exciting growth phase as they launch their new Ophthalmology franchise in the UK.
A key appointment will be a Key Account Manager who will be fully accountable for the region's sales performance across Yorkshire and North East England.
In this role, the successful candidate will manage their own accounts through cost-effective resource deployment and deliver agreed targets and other performance metrics in executing all agreed activities in collaboration with the cross-functional team.
The ideal incumbent will have experience in identifying and prioritising business opportunities through excellence in key account management and be able to demonstrate leadership capabilities and project management within a regional and/or national setting in a commercial role.
They must have the ABPI and previous experience of partnering with local (UK) healthcare environment in order to implement local/national initiatives in support of products and disease areas.
Previous experience in Ophthalmology, although not essential is highly desirable.
