Key responsibilities of this KAM role include:

* Driving product usage in order to achieve and exceed sales, market share and profitability targets across the territory
* Developing and implementing effective account plans and ensuring delivery to agreed timescales
* Working with internal peers and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of account plans
* Building strong and lasting relationships with relevant customers that ultimately benefit patient, the customer and the company
* Maintaining high levels of disease area, NHS and customer knowledge
* Efficiently and effectively managing local budgets according to local business plans

The ideal candidate should have/be:

* NHS and pharmaceutical knowledge
* Strong key account management background
* Successful sales report in pharmaceuticals
* Knowledge of therapy area (advantageous)
* Educated to degree level (or equivalent) - able to cope with detailed science/medicine
* ABPI qualified
* IT competent in the use of email, Microsoft Office and experience of CRM systems
* Experience in selling within a specialist therapeutic area in Secondary Care an advantage
