Responsible to: Associate Director Strategic Partnerships

JOB PURPOSE: To support the growth of the organisations partnerships business by developing and managing successful commercial relationships with the pharmaceutical industry partners to support the achievement of our income targets. The post holder needs to work closely with the Senior NHS Partnership Manager to ensure there is a cohesive approach to income generation and client support; the post holder also needs to work collaboratively with the customer services team to ensure that contracts are delivered in a timely and professional manner

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To implement a corporate partnerships business plan with clear objectives that support commercially driven activities to deliver income generation
2. To build business with new and existing corporate partners; reporting on activities/progress against the measurable KPIs to show partnership growth
3. To work collaboratively internally and externally to supervise existing projects, while identifying new partnership projects and opportunities
4. To oversee the corporate partner pathway, ensuring systems are in place to ensure the successful implementation of agreed contracts
5. To utilise the CRM system for client management and pipeline information to report on progress against KPIs and business plan
6. To identify opportunities with commercial partners to raise the profile and increase the reputation of Education for Health
7. Represent the organisation at key events in to increase connections and generate leads or other opportunities for Education for Health
8. To advise the Chief Executive and other senior colleagues about changes and shifts in the pharmaceutical industry

PERSON SPECIFICATION
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
A proven track record in building successful, commercially driven partnerships and account management activities to secure income – ideally within pharmaceutical or medical devices industry
Experience of income generation, including commercially focused tasks e.g. creation of business plans, delivering against agreed personal/organisational financial targets and KPIs
Proficiency in working as part of a multi professional team, with cross organisational working and management of multiple projects/programmes to a high standard

Essential:
Ability to generate income against agreed targets
Proficient in building trust with key influencers
Numerate with Excellent communication skills
An understanding of the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry
Well organised, self-motivated and efficient
Team player and able to use own initiative
Quick learner, adaptable and flexible to customer requirements
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

WORKING CONDITIONS AND BENEFITS

• Full time
• Pension scheme with 6% employer contribution
• Salary: Circa £36k
• Flexible working will be considered.

LOCATION

Ideally Warwick/West Midlands (flexible) with nationwide travel.
