MEDICAL SCIENTIFIC LIAISON - ONCOLOGY - UK WIDE

They are recruiting for a number Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) to deliver scientific information required by healthcare professionals (HCPs).
This non-promotional, field-based role will establish long-term, peer-to-peer relationships with HCPs and investigators in a given therapeutic field to bring value to physicians and improve the outcome for patients in the UK.
You will interact with HCPs to understand their views, preferences and interests in the assigned therapeutic area and, in collaboration with Medical and clinical research teams, identify opportunities for collaboration between the Client and HCPs.
You will determine physician interest in ongoing research and educational events and acquire their perspectives on competitive compounds/clinical studies. You insights will directly feed into the medical strategy to improve the medical plans to deliver the best outcomes for patients.
Responding to specific, unsolicited requests from HCPs, you will provide them with the latest scientific data, including publications of clinical trials.
To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of a science, pharmacy or medical sciences degree, preferably a PhD or higher degree and experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical or a related field.
You will understand the UK NHS environment and have experience of practical implementation of the ABPI Code of Practice.
You will have experience in the delivery of scientific presentations and the necessary IT and communication skills to give presentations to healthcare professionals.
