Our client is a dynamic, medical device manufacturer devoted to discovering new medicines, new technologies and new ways to manage health. They have a portfolio of products which includes diagnostic devices, and they are in a position of strength in terms of market position and workforce satisfaction.

As part of an exciting new team build they are currently looking to take on a small, expert team of Clinical Implementation Specialists to work closely with their team of Regional Account Managers.

Summary of key responsibilities and role:

* The role will support the relevant geographic Commercial Team during the evaluation of our Client's Point of Care
* products, providing both tactical support, training and effective management of the evaluation process.
* Detailed feedback will be presented to enable the Commercial Team to effectively propose a solution to the customer needs
* Subsequent to any sale the Implementation Specialist will project manage the timely and effective installation and
* implementation of our Client's Point of Care products minimising the time to billing.
* Working in conjunction with the local Commercial Team and the Point of Care Marketing Department, the IS will also work with active accounts to ensure proper and optimal use of existing and new products.
* The Implementation Specialist should be available to travel inside and outside of their region when necessary to support
* the geographic market
* The Implementation Specialist will work in conjunction with Technical Support to provide training and education to new
* hires and as part of the on-going programme of education, support and personal development

Normal Qualifications and experience:
* Appropriate relevant healthcare experience e.g. Medical Technologist, Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse,
* Point of Care Coordinator
* Relevant education/ qualification
* Experience of project or programme management
* Experience of protocol design and implementation
* Must have experience of presenting in a clinical healthcare environment
* Must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of critical care or laboratory environment and procedures

Required Skills:
* Must have a demeanour and energy level conducive to providing catalytic action to a diverse group of individuals.
* An outgoing individual who possesses interpersonal skills, which create followers, not conflict.
* Must have a "can do" attitude and not be intimidated by obstacles or conflict
* Outstanding project management skills required. Must have the ability to initiate action and coordinate the
* actions of others. Must have the ability to coax timely completion of tasks from others
* Must be well organized with excellent follow up skills and the ability to adjust and readjust priorities without
* confusion
* Must be able to effectively manage resources and be able to juggle several projects at the same time
* Must have excellent communication skills, and be equally at ease in a one on one situation as well as group
* presentations and negotiations
* Must know own limitations and know when to ask for help
* Must have good PC skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
* Must be competent in local language and have a good command of both written and spoken English
* Must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of critical care or laboratory environment and procedures
* Must have a basic knowledge of networking and computer interfacing to set up networks and basic data
* management.
