Account Manager - Molecular Diagnostics - Midlands

Our client is a world leading Diagnostics organisation with a reputation for innovation. Their Molecular Systems business area offers a uniquely broad range of life science and diagnostic products.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Molecular Diagnostics Account Manager.

The role will take ownership of all territory accounts and achieve the agreed business objectives within these accounts. Taking a lead in the account strategy and execution for the Molecular Systems products, you will work closely with stakeholders within the team and the wider business.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, specific responsibilities include:
* Achieve agreed business objectives & set strategies to achieve maximum growth and profit. Continuously monitor progress versus plan and take any corrective actions necessary to ensure achievement of plan.
* Nurture a strong team culture and drive self and the team's use of complex sales methodologies and tools to deliver excellence in sales.
* Organise and lead appropriate communication to ensure that information is effectively communicated within the team, business areas and functions.

Who they are looking for;
*The ideal candidate will have Laboratory Experience (preferably in a diagnostic setting) with a clear understanding of Pathology/NHS Hierarchy.
*With a proven track record in complex Sales you will have experience in defining needs, building and delivering complex solutions and managing implementation.
*With an in depth knowledge of molecular biology technologies and underlying biological value you will understand clinical utility in this market.
*You will have knowledge of best practice in molecular laboratories and the environmental & technological drivers currently upon the market.
*Self-motivated, focused and methodical, with the ability to work alone yet readily communicate and share knowledge to the team, you will have the ability to sell with high credibility, be able to turn strategy into actionable implementation.
