Regional Business Manager - Midlands and the North

Our client is a fast-growing pharmaceutical company that specialises in mental health and is determined to become the foremost European provider of specialty products in targeted, under-served therapeutic categories. As the Regional Business Manager, you will be accountable for the achievement of national sales targets which will be delivered through implementation of the sales and marketing plan. To support the delivery of agreed commercial objectives you will manage and develop a sales team and ensure sales targets are achieved through optimal formulary positioning in both primary and secondary care. You will also establish, manage and maintain your own customer relationships with senior NHS stakeholders, emphasising the benefit the company portfolio can bring to patients, physicians, payers and Trusts.

The ideal candidate for the role of the Regional Business Manager will have/be:

* Entrepreneurial flair
* Proven experience in leading a strong team in a commercial environment
* Able to mentor and develop individuals
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills
* A thorough understanding of the NHS
* A strong team player
* Previous experience in the Mental Health arena (desired although not essential)
* ABPI qualified
