They are looking for an Account Manager who will be accountable for ensuring that sales targets are met in a designated geographical area by implementation of brand strategies with regard to their leading Diabetes product.
The new incumbent should have the ability to adapt and successfully execute differing selling strategies and styles and have the ability to maintain an in-depth understanding of the local customer environment and priorities.
They would be accountable for investment and monitoring of promotional budget with constant consideration of ROI and would be responsible for ensuring a high level of product, disease area and competitor knowledge and display competence with both customers and all relevant validations.
Key contacts will include KOL's in Primary care, Secondary care and Meds Management.
Ideally, the candidate will be ABPI qualified and have proven sales and account management ability with a strong level of analytical and evaluation skills. An in-depth knowledge of the NHS structure and the changing NHS environment would also be advantageous.
Alternatively, you will be of graduate calibre with previous sales experience from a retail or business to business sector, seeking your first role within the pharmaceutical industry.
