Key Account Manager - Mental Health - South West

Star is delighted to be working with an extremely well-regarded global pharmaceutical company to recruit a Key Account Manager. With a key focus on one specialist Psychiatry drug, this role requires an experienced and high-performing Account Manager to really take control of the territory and drive the product through into Secondary Care. There is a great deal of opportunity here and they are looking for someone who is passionate about Mental Health to ensure it achieves its full potential.

The Key Account Manager's key responsibilities include:

* Using an account management approach to deliver sales on your territory for the agreed company product portfolio
* Contributing to and delivering tactical account plans for each account in-line with brand and regional objectives
* Developing product advocates to influence sales across all accounts
* Negotiating effectively with customers as identified in the tactical account plan, ensuring company commercial objectives are met
* Driving the development of commercially positive formulary, guideline and protocol inclusions for promoted brands in agreed accounts, in-line with the Sales and Market Access Manager
* Developing and maintaining timely and effective internal and external communication at all levels through an appropriate medium

The ideal candidate will have/be:

* A passion for Mental Health as a therapy area
* ABPI qualification
* Demonstrable sales success
* Experience of true, strategic Key Account Management
