Key Account Manager - Hepatology - North West/Yorkshire

Our client is an exciting new company, with Corporate Headquarters in the US and the UK & Ireland office in London. Their main aim is to be the recognised partner in progressive, non-viral liver disease to physicians, patients, payers and the broader scientific community. As they develop towards commercialisation in 2016, they are creating a European organisation who are committed to bringing new innovations in liver diseases.
They are looking to appoint a talented Hepatology Key Account Manager at the location shown to cover the maternity leave of their current employee.
This role is a senior field position which would be of interest to individuals with proven account management experience and/or sales management or marketing experience along with evidence of results in this role. Due to the unique nature of this position a proven track record within market access roles would also be highly desirable.
The Hepatology Key Account Manager is responsible for the successful launch of new products in the non-viral liver disease area through unlocking the local access environment, ensuring that patients and prescribers gain optimal access to our medicines. They would be responsible for the delivery of business and sales targets through key accounts within a defined geography by cultivating productive and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be capable of working in an international and multicultural environment to help drive the success of the company. They should be entrepreneurial with good IT knowledge. Importantly, given the high profile and accountability of the Hepatology Key Account Manager role, it is critical that the successful candidate operates with the highest degree of integrity and compliance.
