Clinical Educational Advisor reporting to UK Sales Director

My client is expanding their clinical team in the UK, and are looking to recruit a Clinical Educational Advisor within the North of England.

Locations: Home/field Based - North of England

The company is an advanced respiratory technology company developing innovative non-invasive technologies for treating the signs and symptoms of chronic or acute breathing disorders. Patients and the clinicians that treat them are their total focus.

Summary of Position:
The succsessful applicant is directly responsible for influencing the best possible experience for patients and care providers in their region. The Clinical Educational Advisor will need to collaborate with the the distribution partner as well as act independently during the clinical promotion, validation and education process for the products. They will interact with health care providers in acute care hospitals (NICU, PICU, Adult ITU/HDU, Respiratory Ward and Accident and Emergency department) and sub-acute care hospitals and institutions where the products may be utilized in the respiratory care process.
He/she will demonstrate/ teach best practice with the products at prospective and existing customers. This includes initiating & building sustainable relationships with Customers/Physicians and ensuring superior customer satisfaction.

The position requires a professional qualification and clinical experience as a Respiratory Physiotherapist, ICU-Nurse or Clinical/Respiratory Physiologist and/or a strong recent track record in the respiratory medical device industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

·Undertake clinical education and training on territory to accelerate sales to new customers, increase effectiveness of distributor and increase utilization at existing accounts via safe and effective use of the therapy
·Develop clinical relationships independently and in cooperation with distributor
·Provide clinical and product related training to current and prospect customers
·Provide comprehensive and ongoing training for distributor sales and marketing staff in assigned territories including classroom training, phone support and ride-along
·Provide scheduled and "on-demand" support to customers on equipment operation, troubleshooting and clinical best practices.

·Develop, cultivate and maintain relationships with Key Customers, and Strategic Partners within the territory as a means to obtain and provide technical, professional and managerial support for product
·Maintain knowledge and document information on key customers, the market, industry trends, competitors, and leading competitive strategies. Report all activities, communications and customer intelligence in the CRM system.
·Provide feedback to Product Development for improvement to current product and development of new products/extensions. Shares "best practices" and innovative ideas that can impact the companies overall success.

Position Requirements
·Minimum four years' experience in Acute respiratory or critical care. Preference is a clinical background as Respiratory Physiotherapist, Respiratory/ICU Nurse or Clinical Respiratory Physiologist
·Education, teaching experience in acute hospital environment
·Current knowledge and personal experience in respiratory therapies
·Outgoing and forward-thinking personality
·Strong communication skills, verbal and written including group presentation skills
·Computer skills including MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and online applications
·English communication skills
·Living on territory and working from a Home-Office, >75% travel
