Commercial Account Manager - South West England & South Wales
Our client is a niche but expanding player in the Ophthalmology marketplace across the UK, Europe and the United States. At this important time for the organisation, they are looking for an experienced Commercial Account Manager to join their high performing UK sales. You will open independent opticians accounts and optician group accounts whilst building and developing existing customer business in your designated territory.
*The role of the Commercial Account Manager (CAM) is to sell our clients Ophthalmic portfolio of products.
*Achieve sales targets by developing and implementing and monitoring account plans.
*Building good relationships with designated business, for example - optician owners and practice managers and practice staff.
*Identify any gaps in the market place and in customer accounts and help develop the customer account making our client the number one business partner.
*Establish and enhance the reputation of our client as a scientific pharmaceutical organization and partner of choice for opticians.
*Increase awareness of targeted products with designated opticians and increase their knowledge of the product properties and application.
*Maintaining a flexible attitude to the opportunities identified by the company based on the growing ophthalmic product portfolio.
Personal profile & Skills:
*Hands-on, 'can do' attitude, flexible personality; team player
*Commercial acumen and awareness and result oriented
*Good planning and organisational skills
*Solid work ethic without sacrificing your sense of humour
*Proven track record within the optical industry a minimum of 2 years; have an established, positive relationships with optical accounts
*Experience in new product launches
