They now have an exciting opportunity for a strong commercial leader to join their Medication Delivery & Pharmaceuticals business unit.
The role holder, under the guidance of the Business Unit Director, will be responsible for leading and managing the National (UKI) Clinical team with direct line management responsibility for 3 Clinical Specialists, with plans for expansion linked to product launch effectiveness. The National Clinical Team supports 2 teams; a national sales teams for pumps and a national sales team for fluid systems. This role will be both strategic and operational to shape and inform the value story of current and new product launches from the ground right through to the leadership team.
The activity of the Clinical Team spans from pre-sale, tender/evaluation to implementation for both hardware, consumables. The team are a critical part of the 'upsell' optimising therapy outcomes for patients.
*Inspire team by communicating a clear vision of what is expected, role modelling the required behaviours and guiding them to deliver the national budget number, new product launch aspirations and clinical objectives.
*Provide input into budgetary and planning processes with Business Unit Director and monitor performance against budget, taking appropriate action to address any variances
*Develop and manage report processes to capture appropriate metrics in relation to team performance
*Work closely with Marketing, Market Access and Medical colleagues to ensure agreement and execution of agreed critical success factors
*Build & develop relationships with key opinion leaders and promote the products and services from a clinical and service perspective
*Combine a highly competitive approach with strong teamwork and flexibility, sharing best practice and ideas
*Previous Nursing background
*Commercial experience from within the UK healthcare industry
*Customer focused with ability to empathise with Directors of Nursing/ Heads of Nursing and Nursing Teams
*Clinical credibility with exceptional National KOL level engagement skills
