Hospital Sales Specialist - Ophthalmology - South Thames
Our client's mission is to provide high-quality Eyecare products that are designed, manufactured and delivered with excellence and to continuously improve the awareness, accessibility and affordability of Eyecare. They plan to achieve this through developing a robust pipeline, which will have multiple product platforms, designed to meet the needs of end-2-end users such as patients, healthcare payers and medical practitioners.
In this role your duties will include:
*Establish them as a partner of choice for consultant clinicians in the Dry Eye Disease and soon Glaucoma.
*Gain positive formulary decisions at Trust level and work with your market access colleagues to ensure CCG formularies are gained.
*Identify and target secondary care KOLs and key ophthalmology trusts/accounts on your territory
*Call upon associated health care professionals who have a role in treating relevant diseases, nurses, pharmacy etc
*To work with market access colleagues to maximise impact on key payor contacts within your local CCGs, gain formulary acceptance, identify and instigate medicine change opportunities and manage the overall relationship with your local payor community
*Identify and categorize key opinion leaders (KOL), both International and Local who have influence and decision-making capability
*Communicate complex and intricate scientific concepts, present the data and arguments in a credible and understandable style appropriate to your audience
*Facilitate the formulary adoption of products on to NHS Hospital Trust & CCG formularies within your territory
This unique role will see you take full accountability for your own performance and results and allow you scope to make and manage your own decisions.
In addition, you will share knowledge and learning with others in tandem with seeking and giving feedback and coaching.
They are looking for a committed and self disciplined individuals who can demonstrate a high level of success as a sales representative in Ophthalmology from either a surgical devices or pharmaceutical perspective.
You will need strong analytical skills with well-tuned territory management skills.
