Territory Manager - Ophthalmology - North West England
Our client is a niche but expanding player in the Ophthalmology marketplace across the UK and Europe and the United States. At this important time for the organisation, they are looking for an talented Territory Account Manager to join their high performing UK sales team to work covering the North West England territory.
The product portfolio focuses on ophthalmology targeting a need in the marketplace. This is a brand new role introduced to cover the huge sales potential so it's important that the new incumbent will be a solutions-focused individual with a pro-active commercial mind-set.
The ideal candidate will have ophthalmology experience, gained within a strategic sales role and a proven track record of sales success. However, candidates with a strong sales background in other areas will also be considered, provided it is within a technical sales function at key account/hospital level. You will be ready to take on the next challenge into a highly visible sales role and advance your sales career.
They are interested in people with strong entrepreneurial skills, who think on their feet, are proactive, innovative and recognise opportunities whilst always being mindful of the need to get a return on investment (both of time and resources). Candidates should thrive in a team environment where trust, communication, joined up working and a willingness challenge each other are a given.
An ABPI would be an advantage but is not a pre-requisite.
